Sharp, an emerging smartphone manufacturing company, has now announced the new Aquos R Compact smartphone, which belongs to its Aquos R series.

Unlike the other models within this smartphone series released by the company, the Aquos R Compact smartphone is a bit different, as it has edge-to-edge display and design, which was not seen in other smartphone designs of this company.

The phone has 4.9-inch display with 2032 x 1080 pixels resolution. Its top edges have curved corners and display has 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It also has main camera of 16.4MP and the front camera of 8MP.

The phone will come with Android 8.0 Oreo along with EMOPA 7.0 UI on its top. It will have 2,500mAh battery along with the Quick Charge 3.0 option. The phone will first be available exclusively in Japan from December this year.
