Android Working on Tracking the Battery Life of Its Bluetooth Devices

A report from XDA Developers discloses that the Android Open Source Project is trying to get a solution for tracking battery life of Bluetooth devices. Apple users have the choice to track their phone’s Bluetooth battery levels as IOS 9 has the inbuilt ability. Unfortunately, Android users don’t enjoy the same option.

However, it has been noted that Samsung, OnePlus, LG etc. mobile phones have their ways to display the power display whereas some rely on third party sources like BatON.

Google is working on this new technology feature but it isn’t sure either Android would have this new feature in the next big release. Also, Bluetooth device makers have to make their products being able to communicate with the updated Android API in order to perform. Having said that, Google has reached halfway and the update halfway still has to be accomplished.

Battery life of Bluetooth accessories has become important since the wireless headphones are more into streamline. In case of Android coming up with tracking Bluetooth battery life scenario, that would help Android users.
