Google’s latest mobile operating system is Android Oreo and the updated software would be available on mobile devices by the end of 2017. The software update is already there in developer beta phase for quite a long time but it has been announced by Google officially just now.

Name guess game was long; everyone was guessing what ‘O’ stands for. People were guessing related to sweet or candy, example, Google latest version was Nougat, and before that was Marshmallow and even before that Lollipop.

Android Oreo would be the Android 8.0 version following the Nougat.
