Samsung has suffered a lot with Galaxy Note 7 handset. With recall and exchange program of 25 lac Galaxy S7 units, Samsung has borne the loss of dollar one billion and eighty crore. Even after this loss, Samsung expects a profit of 7 billion in the third quarter of current year.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is currently the biggest issue in Social Media. But they have Chipset and Display division showing hefty profits.

According to experts, the display and chipset division have shown major percentage of profits and mobile division has not shown decent profits for previous three quarters in 2016.
