Samsung Galaxy Note7 is undoubtedly a killer Note but did not meet the expectation of releasing Android 7.0 Nougat upon launch. In this respect, LG will beat the Samsung by launching the first Nougat Phone anytime soon. The Galaxy Note 7 has been recently announced and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed.

As per Korea Times, Sammy has promised the Android 7.0 Nougat update will be rolled out to Galaxy Note 7 in 2 to 3 months. Thus you should expect the handset to become officially Nougat smartphone in October or November. Reportedly, President of Samsung Mobile commented on this during a Note 7 Media Event in South Korea.

The Korean Time also confirmed the release of 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM iteration of Galaxy Note 7 for China only. It also confirmed that there will be no foldable smartphone anytime soon.
