When we talk about the hot pursuit in smartphone market, rarely, there are names that bring the best out of their handsets. Undoubtedly, the companies are consistently experimenting with latest technology to make the most out of their products, moreover, it is vital to win over the hearts of prospects to trigger sales. We are witnessing increased saturation in high-end market with mere incremental upgrades. However, Sammy has managed to hit the mark while designing well-thought and multi-layered software smartphones. The company is also focusing on in-house produced hardware. The company has inspired many competing brands naming tech giants like Apple to explore the depth of this so called “phablet” market.

Galaxy Note 7 design language is pristine when it comes to both display and placement of S Pen and other ports. The rounded corners right adjust in your hands and the sleek design (though it has hefty innards but it is slightly lighter than Note5). The dual-edged screen is stylish but has the tendency to slip from pocket. As far as the quality of execution is concerned, the company has built confidence in the handset. It is amazing how the buttons, speaker grilles, mics and other holes and elements are placed perfectly within metal frame.

The company has again designed the display with AMOLED screen on board. Quality-wise, it is the top-notch screen with 5.7 inches size with curves on the edge. The display has 1440 x 2560 resolution, so you might expect the crisp in the videos and everything in the icon bar but there could be some other issues to consider.

Sammy has released two variants of Galaxy Note 7: one is the global version with Exynos 8890 chipset, and the second is particularly designed for US carrying the latest Snapdragon 820. As far as our analysis both variants exhibit different color capacity.  The US version has been showing spot-on color balance –delivering both adjustments and concreteness. However the international unit is exhibiting undersaturated red, which has made the screen to appear more green and cold. This is might bring concern to those buying international variant to be less efficient display-wise while paying the same or more price for the handset.

Galaxy Note 7 has 12MP rear camera with feature like OIS, autofocus and phase detection. Other features include RAW image capture, Face detection, Voice activation, Self-timer, Digital zoom, Geo tagging, Exposure compensation, ISO control, and White balance. The handset can record 4K video at 30fps. The front snapper is 5MP.

In Nutshell, Note 7 is worth buy for every penny you spend on it.
