BlackBerry is working on three devices codenamed Neon, Argon and Mercury. The devices are rumored to get manufactured by TCL recently owned Alcatel. All three devices will be powerful and high-end, which will make these devices expensive.
Neon device will be manufactured by BlackBerry in partnership with Alcatel. It will have 5.2-inch touch screen and will not include BB typical physical QWERTY keyboard. The phone will run SD 617 and will be built upon Aluminum chassis. Neon rest of the specs include 3GB RAM, 16GB native memory, 2610mAh battery, Quick Charge 2.0 compatibility, 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
The device codenamed Neon will release in July or August. It is also in rumors that the device’s real name will be Hamburg.
Argon will be launched in October. It will have a 5.5-inch QHD screen, SD 820 CPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support, and USB Type-C port. Argon will have 21MP rear camera and 8MP front facer.
Mercury will be launched within the timeframe of January-March 2017. This will be the only with physical QWERTY keyboard. However, it will not slide like PRIV’s current keyboard. The specs are yet not leaked by any authentic source.
