The Economic Times reported today, that ZTE has started trial testing for the 5G technology in India. According to the report, the India’s best telecom companies such as Vodafone India, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio have been working together with the Chinese smartphone and telecom equipment manufacturer ZTE.

India has one of the biggest global wireless markets and it’s the one which has plethora of space for growth. The President of global marketing and solutions for ZTE, Fan Xiaobing, has told Economic Times that, India is a very valuable market for ZTE. Because, the Telecom industry is everything about scale and India gives scale. So, the telecom market in India will expand very speedily. He further added that we are raising our investments to bolster up growth in India.

Furthermore, he also commented that ZTE will bring the telecom products and equipment to the domestic telecoms that are customized and designed according to the local requirements.
