The subsidiary of Micromax Yu Televentures has launched the Yu Yunique 2 smartphone today in India. The company has been teasing about it since the last week. The Yu Yunique 2 is the refurbished version of the Yunique smartphone, it comes with the main highlight of Truecaller integration, which gives spam and caller ID protection features. Other features include 4G VoLTE support, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a 13-megapixel rear camera, Android 7.0 Nougat, and a reasonable price.
The Yu Yunique 2 has been launched at a price of INR 5,999, and the smartphone will be available for purchase at 12 p.m. [IST] on Thursday, July 27, exclusively via Flipkart. The handset will be available in two color options Champagne and Coal Black. The launch offers are not announced yet.
The Yu Yunique 2 has a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display along with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC and runs Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Yu Yunique 2 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front selfie camera. It has a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity, which can be expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. Connectivity on the board includes Bluetooth v4.0, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB port. Sensors on the board include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and accelerometer. The smartphone houses a 2500mAh battery and measures 145×72.7×9.15mm and weighs 159 grams.
