Apple has recently made an announcement to remove some apps from the Store in order to curb security issues. It emphasized that customer data cannot be compromised anyway. Apple said some Apps had certificates to show users data to the Third Party. The company did not named and numbered the Apps that have been immediately revoked.
An Apple spokeswoman said:
“Apple is deeply committed to protecting customer privacy and security.”
“We are working closely with these developers to quickly get their apps back on the App Store, while ensuring customer privacy and security is not at risk.”
Apps has a root Certificate which serves to route users data to servers where it is rigorously analyzed. Form here, it get vulnerable to network providers to monitor encrypted traffic. This will make users a bit concerned for data breach, if happens. Among various apps Been Choice is also removed, which has the ability to monitor, control and block advertising in apps.
Moreover, An Apple spokeswoman also said that company will soon open a support page to help users remove the apps that threat their security and privacy while using Apple’s devices.
