Xiaomi officially announced new flagship; Mi Note Pro

There had been a buzz in market regarding Redmi Note 2 and Mi5 to be the next flagship of Xiaomi. We had also predicted through the teasers and it seemed that we were close. But astonishingly, Xiaomi proved to be a silent drum whose beats were heard yet not understood. The new Flagship of Xiaomi is Mi Note Pro aiming to compete against Apple iPhone 6 Plus. It uses a dual glass design 2.5 D front and 3D rear glass. Mi Note Pro has a 5.7 inches display and runs on the best Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset. It offers an octa-core processor with 4x Cortex-A57 humming at 2.0 GHz and 4x Cortex-A 53 @1.5 GHz, Adreno 430 graphics accelerator, 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage. It packs LTE Cat.9 connectivity for up to 450Mbps downlink speeds. In camera department, it covers a 13MP rear camera featuring a Sony IMX214 sensor, optical image stabilization and dual-tone flash and a front 4MP sensor camera for selfie. It is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery unit. Xiaomi Mi Note Pro runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI launcher on top. The phone will launch in China at CNY 3,300 (€450). Pre-order will be open till January 20, while shipping will begin on January 27
