Xioami is planning to enter the US market this year but hasn’t offered any major deadline for this event. The last thing we heard the company’s official saying Xioami will enter US market in near future. The words were cleverly chosen by Hugo Barra as Xioami is yet not decisive for its product line for US market.

The good part is Xiaomi fans in US will soon be able to purchase products in US, BUT Alas, not the smartphones.

TechCrunch has reportedly mentioned that the first product of Xiaomi to sell in US would be Android set-top box. This so-called Mi Box will be the first to sell, if the rumors are true.

When the Mi Box was announced there were no news on it selling in US, however, now the company might sell it to selected place along with US. There is no news on price but Xiaomi Android set- top will cost you less than $100.

If you are still unknown to the device, the Mi Box is a set-top box which can stream 4K video at 60fps and supports Dolby Digital Plus audio playback. It boots Android OS and is powered by quad-core ARM CPU, complemented by a Mali 450 for graphics, 2GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory.
