Xiaomi Mobile has officially released the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Smartphones in India. The prices of smartphones start at INR 9,999 (approx. $155) for the Redmi Note 5 and INR 13,999 (approx. $218) for the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both of the smartphones will be available online via Flipkart and Mi.com and also from the offline retail partners. However, the exact availability dates are yet to be announced.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro features the same 5.99-inches display as the Redmi Note 5, but it packs a new Snapdragon 636 SoC with 1.8GHz 4+4 Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 509 GPU. You have a choice of 4GB or 6GB RAM accompanied with 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP primary sensor and 5MP depth sensor. While on the front, it features a 20MP camera along with LED flash. The Redmi Note 5 Pro will be available in four color options Gold, Black, Rose Gold, and Blue.

The Redmi Note 5 is a rebranded version of Redmi 5 Plus Smartphone for India. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset teamed up with a choice of 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage. It features a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera with LED flash. The Redmi Note 5 will be available in four color options which include Blue, Black, Gold and Rose Gold.
