Xiaomi has recently done a remarkable job of selling 800,000 units of the Redmi Note 2 phone in just 12 hours. This has been claimed by the company a record breaking sales in domestic market.  Redmi Note 2 was introduced in China last week and was also up for flash sale yesterday.

As far as specs are concerned,it has a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 resolution display. The handset runs on a MediaTekHelio X10 SoC with eight Cortex-A53 CPU cores, accompanying 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

In camera department, the RedmiNote 2 features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. There is also dual SIM capability, and the device runs the new MIUI 7 out of the box. Further, it is powered by a 3,020mAh battery.

The second batch of the smartphone will go on flash sale next week on August 24.
