Photo filters is one of the biggest three Whatsapp feature updates, other two include automatic albums that could be sent in chats and reply shortcuts. Filters for photos let the user to apply them on a picture or a video or even a gif before sending it over.

Five options are given: B&W, Cool, Film, Chrome and Pop. For adding a filter, swipe up on clip or an image and pick one of these. Filter options easily predicting what new Whatsapp could bring in future. Especially when it comes to direct messaging, no other app has beaten Whatsapp so far, though Facebook Messenger and Skype are competing tough in the reign.

Albums – whenever a user sends you four or more pictures or videos, the images would convert into scrollable album automatically.

Reply shortcut – Whatsapp has introduced reply shortcuts for iOS users, the feature helps in replying to the message by swipe. Great, because leaving a group chat is difficult sometimes so user can swipe to the upcoming message and reply.
