According to AFTV News, retail giant Amazon is working on its very own messaging app ‘Anytime’. The company started the survey from its customers by asking them what sort of features they wish the app should have. But the news source revealed that it would be ‘all in one feature rich service that could even rival social networks’.

Focus would be on messaging, pictures sharing, sticker, Gifs, video and voice calls, and highlighting other users etc. Audio or video calls could be made to groups or individuals. It could be used for contacting businesses or making reservations.

Survey images telling us that the messaging service will be encrypted and secure. It would work on number of mobile and desktop devices.

Early this year, Amazon announced Chime, a video conferencing android mobile app specifically for its business users. The app is no doubt designed to compete its rivals like Skype, or WebEx. Moreover, Amazon has updated the Alexa devices with features like voice calling and messaging.
