Tencent Holdings Limiting Play Time of ‘Honour of Kings’ for Kids
Teachers and parents complained that the game addiction especially for multiplayer online battle game ‘Honour of Kings’ affected children badly. There are more than 200 million users of the game (most of them reside in China), and currently it is one of the top grossing games on the Play Store.

From today onwards, users below the age of 12 years are limited to play just for one hour a day, where as children in between 12 to 18 years of age will be able to play 2 hours a day, as it was said in an official statement by Tencent. However, it isn’t made clear if the limitations of play time are only applicable in China or in other countries too.
Tencent is also planning to ban kids who are under 12 years of age to play after 9pm, and it will restrict the money kids spend on this game.
