T-Mobile might be releasing very soon its first-ever rugged smartphone, which will belong to the Samsung Galaxy S series. Venturebeat reports that T-Mobile has finalized its plans for launching the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active in the near future, which was previously exclusively available on AT&T.
The Galaxy S8 Active offered by T-Mobile will have the model number SM-G892T, and it will come in two color options, i.e. meteor gray and titanium gold. The variant offered by the T-Mobile will also have same specs as are found in case of regular Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, i.e. 5.8-inch AMOLED display and Snapdragon 835 SoC. Moreover, it will also be sand and water resistant, as it will also be IP68 certified.
There is still not any information about the release date of the phone by T-Mobile, but the price will be likely around $800, which will be about $50 less than the price that AT&T is currently offering.
