Samsung to introduce a foldable device prototype at MWC 2017.

Some people might be disappointed by Samsung decision to not announce the latest and upcoming S series handsets this MWC, but, this doesn’t mean that Samsung will come empty-handed this show time. Apart from launching its Tab S3, the company is also looking to showcase a foldable device prototype at the event.

According to sources like ETnews, the foldable handset will be showcased privately and will be accessible to only select people and clients. This will help Samsung to assess the potential market existing for these devices and also the display technology that has evolved to be foldable and are readily available by suppliers dealing in companies opting for it.

Especially, the display subsidiary dubbed Samsung Display is looking for clients that are interested in similar technology. However, not only the corporate heads will be given access to these novelties, rather, individual will be given an opportunity to look into these foldable devices and formulate their opinion based on its usability in commercial market.

It is also rumored there will be multiple foldable handsets, so keeping waiting for MWC for the biggest scoop.
