Samsung Netherlands has started taking pre-orders for both Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, which shows prices have been revealed in mainland Europe. Both versions will be up for sale on April 10.
The 32GB flat-screen models is priced at €700 which roughly makes $784. It is the price of S5 last year and also the starting price of Note 4.
Galaxy S6 Edge is an ultra-premium device that packs three curved edges. It is priced at €850 which makes around $952.
If we compare it with a Dutch retailer, it has listed HTC M9 at €750 ($840). The Samsung UK displays “Coming Soon “for both version of S6. But earlier it slipped from source that its £700.
One disappointment is that there is no microSD slot but sooner or later you might see 64GB and 128GB versions. A Finnish site has also revealed the price for different storage version. S6 64GB will cost €830 and 128GB might be available at price €950 which roughly makes $930 and $1064 respectively. While Galaxy S6 Edge 64 GB version is priced at €1000 and 128GB version is tagged at price €1100. This makes roughly $1120 and $1232 respectively.
