Samsung is giving another Big Shot to its budget segment by offering Samsung J1 in its upcoming J series. Though officially unannounced, the picture and the price tag was revealed on a Russian online store. “The quoted number is RUR 10,990 ($170), but prices in Russia are only indicative, at best, of global figures, with the questionable stability of the currency at the moment” It has 4.3-inch screen with 480x800px resolution and is surrounded by thin bezels and a conventional Samsung arrangement of sensors and buttons. Powered by quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and 1GB of RAM provide decent capacity for daily tasks. The rather low 4GB of built-in storage is luckily expandable via microSD. The device will be available in six versions according to user manual guide published at Russian Website. The Variation of Dual SIM and Radio Connectivity will differentiate between the six. The shipment is expected to start soon probably from January 23. And also, whether the omission of Galaxy signature is international or mistake will soon be revealed.
