  admin

We have previously mentioned that there could be delays in the upcoming flagships of various brands due to overheating issues in Snapdragon 810 which are yet to be resolved by Qualcomm. Similarly Samsung Galaxy S6 is also thought of experiencing delays due to chipset fears. Now the rumors are that this South Korean Company, Samsung, will ditch the Snapdragon chipset in favor of Exynos-series chip.

According to Digitimes report, the Galaxy S6 will come in two versions. One is the Snapdragon 810 chipset while other supporting Exynos chipset. It is also reported that up to 90 percent of the S6 models will come with latter while only a few will run Qualcomm’s chipset. Further anticipation reveals that if the overheating issue reduces, this may increase the number of S6 models using Qualcomm’s chipset.

The smartphone will make its first appearance on WMC at Barcelona with both regular and edge versions.
