The UK government has placed great scrutiny over the official bearings of its high ranking people. Samsung is happy that its Galaxy S6 and S6 edge smartphones have had their encryption certified by the UK’s Communications and Electronics Security Group. This is a government body that certifies device usage for high ranking officials.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is allowed for official use in UK

Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are approved for use at the “official” level, which means from now onwards they are acclaimed devices for government and public sector organizations, including the police, local councils, hospitals, as well as government departments.

Samsung has said it the first mobile manufacturer that received this kind of certification from UK Authority. The CESG has conducted rigorous testing on the two devices, ensuring they meet a stringent set of security requirements.
