The recent rumor has leaked a sketched diagram of 12MP main camera of the Apple’s next iPhone, dubbed iPhone 6s. This information has been recently shared on Weibo by an alleged Foxconn employee. The image has been deleted from the account after sometime.
The camera unit is capable of shooting 4K video and slow-motion footage at 240 frames per second. However, previous rumors suggested that Apple might opt for a 16MP unit in the iPhone 6 successor.
With internal model numbers N66 for iPhone 6s and N71 for iPhone 6s Plus, the handsets will pack 2GB of RAM, 5MP front camera, and LTE Category 6 modem. According to another set of rumors both model has undergone early production which means Apple is expected to launch the 6s duo in September.
