PTA has started working on the telecom policy 2016 as announced by ECC (Economic Coordination Company) on December 11, 2016.A meeting is being held in coordination with different departments to review the different sections of overall policy. Chairman Finance and Member (Finance) chaired the meeting. Participants of the meeting analyzed the policy in detail in relation to the concerns of stakeholders.

The prime topics of discussion was different sections of policy and respective strategy was discussed. Some of the task is also given preparatory work. It was also emphasized that follow up meeting will be held to assess progress on the assigned task.
