According to PTA (Pakistan Telecom Authority), the 3G users have reached up to 9.07 million and LTE users hit figure of 50,000 till the end of January.According to PTA the highest with 3G customers is Telenor having 472,374 users in the reported month among the total of 1.5M users, followed by Mobilink which converted 381,984 subscribers to 3G. Ufone, being third, converted301,572 subscribers to 3G plans during the reported month.

Zong managed to get 189,023 subscribers on its 3G network during month of January 2015. Telenor is ranked number 1 with 2.74 million 3G subscribers while Ufone comes second with its 2.25 million 3G users. Mobilink had 2.18 million 3G users while Zong ended the month with 1.85 million 3G users. This makes a total of 9.07M 3G users.

For LTE, Zong almost has 5,023 users at the end of January 2015 while Warid reported total of 44,075 LTE subscribers during the month of January to outshine Zong. With total subscriptions of both the Telecos in Pakistan account for almost 50,000 4G/LTE users in the country.
