HMD Global has started rolling out a new software update to Nokia 2 smartphone. The update brings only security update for the month of February. This new update for Nokia 2 weighs in at almost 90MB and basically, it’s a security update that arrives along with some Android fixes for this month.

Just to recall, HMD Global had pushed the February patch last week along with the fix for exactly same media vulnerability for its Nokia 3 and Nokia 8 smartphones. The new update for Nokia 2 includes fixes for other common bugs characterized in the Android security bulletin.

Meanwhile only Indian Nokia Mobile devices (TA-1011) are receiving the update, though in near future we expect that to change. As per report by the Android security bulletin, the security patch dated 1^st February has fixed seven known issues although the security patch dated 5^th February will bring fix to nineteen issues.
