It was revealed on a report published last October that Samsung Galaxy Note 9, which will be released in this Fall, will be the first phone by the company to have under-display fingerprint sensor.
A new rumor has surfaced in Korea, the home country of Samsung Mobile, which has claimed that it there will not be such a case in Note 9. The project through which this technology was to be integrated into Samsung Galaxy Note 9, has now been stopped, and this decision was actually made for restoring the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor just like that of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Several suppliers have been working on the under-display sensors for this manufacturers over the last two years; however the technology is yet delayed again owing to the technical complications. Moreover, sources within parts industry have also said that the durability and accuracy of this sort of sensor will be lower as compared to the traditional unit installed earlier.
