We know that iPhone emerged on the scene with just one button appearing on the front, and that was basically its signature trait. This was widely regarded as a very simple yet an effective concept that was widely appreciated by the people around the world. In fact, the home button in iPhone held a central attention in the phone’s success too.

However, it happened for the first time that iPhone was released without featuring the home button. This happened in the case of iPhone X. Absence of the button on the front was basically meant to make the phone more hassle-free and convenient in use. As a matter of fact, the gesture-based UI introduced by Apple instead of home button will help the user sleep or wake the phone through a single tap.

Moreover, home button was there earlier for doing different other tasks, but now the users will have to use volume as well as power keys along with touch display for performing the same tasks, which will actually make the usage of iPhone X a bit more complicated than before. Only time will tell whether people get accustomed to the iPhone without home button, or they would miss it in the long run.
