There is a new app in town that will help you boost the display colors and scheming on Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. This app is called Oreo Colorizer. It can be installed in either of these two phones, and once installed, it will force the display to demonstrate more vivid colors on display.

At the moment, the display shows sRGB even when it is able to demonstrate the wide-gamut colors in the DCI-P3 color range, but this range of colors will be brought up on the screen once the app demands for it.

Many people are not satisfied with the current scheme of colors displayed on Pixel 2 XL, as they say that these colors are muted as compared to the other competing smartphones.

This new app called Oreo Colorizer will work through the use of a system overlay, which will re-render the brighter colors on the top of the others that are displayed on a normal scale. There will be two modes of this app, i.e. standard and performance. You will get different results in case of both the modes.
