Google has released its two new smartphones Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in the global launch event. The prices of new Google phone in India have been disclosed shortly after theglobal launch event come to an end. The Pixel 2 with 64GB storage variant comes with the price tag of INR 61,000 in India, although the 128GB variant is priced at INR 70,000. However, the Pixel 2 XL price for the 64GB and 128GB storage variants are INR 73,000 and INR 82,000, accordingly. At that price points, the new flagship smartphones of Google are priced to contend with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and as well as the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, which went on sale in India a week ago.

The pre-bookings for the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will start from October 26 in India. The Pixel 2sale will kick-off on November 1 and the Pixel 2 XL will go on sale from November 15. Notably, these smartphones will be available from more than 1,000 offline retail outlets in the country, as well as they will be available online exclusively via Flipkart.
