Previously we learned that Huawei might become an option for Google for the Nexus next in line. Yesterday, the Director of China Research at iSuppli, Kevin Yang, has posted on his Weibo that Huawei is indeed chosen by Google as one of the makers of the next Nexus smartphone. The information has not been verified by any official source but since iSuppli is well-reputed mobile analytics company, the news cannot be ignored anyway.

The Weibo also shared earlier that there will be two Nexus smartphones this year. One manufactured by Huawei which will be an affordable version and the other will be high-end by LG. As Google goes for Huawei it will not only elevate Huawei but also its Kirin chipset in the developer’s community.

Huawei is confirmed to be the next Nexus phone maker for Google
