The Nexus 6P design quality is quite under scrutiny as the owners are reporting shattered glass at the front and back without much intervention. Initially the bend test also proved that metal build is not as solid as it seems.Very recently, a bunch of users have reported that the back glass gets scratched while smartphone sitting at its back,

without them doing anything. It reminds us of how Nexus 4 Glass back gets shattered. The reason being might be the sudden change in temperature when kept on cool slabs after being used for a while.

Now the glass on Nexus 6P might be facing similar situation, the manufacturer does not see this forthcoming and did not build capacity in the glass and metal around it to support expansion and contraction. Similarly some of the users reported display glass crack, one long, going across the surface.

However, up till now there are just small number of people who are reporting these issues but this may get worse, if it goes on as the sales will continue to expand. Google has been providing support for these devices and esp. Huawei that is handling the service now should look upon these lapses.
