HTC has tweeted officially that the company would update its smartphone devices with latest Android Oreo and the process would start in the fourth quarter of this year. Moreover, U11 would be the first HTC mobile phone to get the update.
Android Oreo would come to HTC U Ultra and 10 too. HTC is ambitious to bring about the update and so do other mobile phone companies. Google released Android Oreo this week, however, the new OS isn’t ready upfront for the mobile phones yet. However, Google said that Nexus5X and Nexus 6P along with latest Pixel phones would get the OS update; the phones currently are in carrier testing.
Users who are impatient to have the new OS on your mobile can download the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS from Google’s blog and follow the provided instructions. But, the wait is worth a while.
