HTC Desire has been rumored to get the Marshmallow update anytime later this year. The device has started getting the update. It will, however, come in two parts but weighs 1.6GB in total.
The update comes with Android version 6.0.1 along with version 7.0 of the Taiwanese company’s Sense UI. The update is currently rolling out to Desire Eye units in the UAE apart from some European countries including Italy. As far as the United States is concerned, AT&T variants of the Desire Eye are likely to get the update later this month.
HTC USA has already published a list including all its handsets that will get the Marshmallow update. The Desire Eye, initially, was not listed in it. The HTC Desire Eye got unveiled in 2014, and currently boots Android Lollipop with Sense 6.0 UI on top.
