Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to release its new Honor 9 in India on October 5. This news is officially confirmed by the company. At the same time, Flipkart has mentioned that it will be the exclusive launch partner for a new Honor mobile, but it didn’t disclose the name of smartphone.

Just to recall, Honor 9 was launched in China earlier this year in three variants; 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately INR 22,000), 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately INR 26,000), and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately 28,500). Now we have to wait till October 5 to see whether all three variants are unveiled in India or not.

The main highlight feature of the new Honor 9 is its dual rear camera setup. It comes with 20MP sensorfor monochrome alongside a 12MP sensor for RGBteamed up with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and two tone LED flash. At the front side, it has an 8MP selfie camera on board.
