Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei, and a new model of this brand namely Honor 9i has been released in India today. This phone is exclusively available on Flipkart, and its price will be INR 19,999. However, upon release, its introductory price will be INR 17,999.

Readers must note that Honor 9i is the same phone as Miamang 6, which was released for China as well as Honor Nova 2i, which was released for Malaysia. This means that Honor 9i is released exclusively for Indian market.

The phone will have 5.9-inch 18:9 IPS LCD touchscreen with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. It will have two snappers on the front of 2MP and 13MP, whereas the backside will have dual camera system with 16MP and 2MP cameras. It is powered by Kirin 659 SoC along with 4GB RAM. The phone has 3,340mAh battery capacity and has a fingerprint sensor on its back. Honor 9i will be available for sale from October 14 exclusively through Flipkart.
