After being launched in China, the Honor 8 is now heading towards USA. The launch event will take place in San Francisco on August 16, however, it availability is yet not confirmed.
Like the Honor 5X, the Honor 8 is carved out of metal with more premium and compact look. It has 5.2-inch 1080p display. The highlights are the dual 12 MP rear camera with laser AF and an 8MP front-facer. Further,
Honor 8 runs on a octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor humming at 2.3 GHz. The rest of the specs include 3 GB/ 4 GB RAM, 32 GB/ 64 GB of expandable storage space, fingerprint scanner, and a 3000mAh battery. The device boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 UI on top.
In China, the Honor 8 costs $300. There is no news on price and availability, still it is safe to assume it will sell unlocked asking not enough money.
