The Gionee Marathon M5 which has been recently unveiled in China will soon be made official in India. The Intel can be extracted from the recent listing of the handset at Zauba, which is an import and export tracking website of India.

As far as specs are concerned, The Marathon M5 lite runs on a Mediatek MT6735 chipset accompanying quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. For the graphics it contains Mali-T720MP2 GPU. Further M5 lite comes with 5-inch with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixel. The device packs 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory expandable via micro SD. M5 is powered by 4000mAh battery.

Camera-wise, the M5 lite is offering an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facer for amazing Selfies. It boots Android 5.1 Lollipop all-inclusive, and is available in gold and gray color variants. In accordance with lisiting at Zauba, the smartphone will set you back for INR 6,700 which is around $100 in India.
