The Gionee M2017 is currently certified by TENAA. The phone should not be confused with SM-W2017 which is high-end offering by Samsung with whopping 7000mAh battery.

The Gionee M2017 is likely to come with 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 1440 x 2560. The device will be powered by MediaTek Helio P10 chipset carrying an octa-core 1.95GHz CPU, and a dual-core Mali-T860 GPU for graphics. Inside is 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, which is not expandable.

It has a 13MP rear camera, and 8MP front-facer for handling video chats and selfies. The home button contains the fingerprint scanner and comes with Android 6.0.1 pre-installed. The Gionee M2017 is likely to come in one color and that color would be Black.
