The Gorilla Glass protects the screen from scratches well and the sides of the handset are made out of real metal. It took just 8 seconds of smearing an open flame to the display before the pixels turned black, however when the fire was put out the screen recovered.

When it was time to test bend things did not turn out as expected. The device’s metal frame enables it to bend way more than it should. When you need it from the front it shattered glass contrary to what happened with the U Ultra.

It appears that it took place this time as the U11 unluckily pairs curved glass together with a flexible frame. So if you are looking for durability in this handset, you will have to face disappointment.
