Facebook has now added a support for Live Photos. This same feature has been introduced by Apple’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The feature will only run with Apple’s flagship model.

This is similar to uploading the photo, but with this feature you can send photo via the same feature. The life Photo can be uploaded via “Live” box featured in the bottom right.

You just need to tap it and that will be uploaded as Live photo. If it is not tapped, only a still shot is uploaded.

The important thing to note is that you have to tap each live photo manually and this is provided for a good reason. Live Photos can be actually created in a swift manner without even any intention. With this feature you can actually stop yourself sending accidently sending a Live Photo each time to the recipient, which will eventually take a considerable amount of time as it has much larger size as compared to still image.

Currently only iPhone 6s and 6s Plus supports the capturing of Live Photos. However, third party developers will work with similar suitable alternatives so that other smartphone users could avail it.
