UAE top telcos, Etisalat and Du have offered phone bills cut in half for their old age customers. The discount offer is on calls and data packages for the senior citizens of Middle East. Etisalat and Du are in agreement to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) for the offer provision.

Exclusive customer service like Etisalat business centers access on priority and immediate response to any calls being made as an effort of the initiative.

Senior citizens would get double the credit of prepaid they buy and up to 50% off on postpaid packages by Du. The given discounts are part of the government’s initiative of Masarra Card.

“In the Year of Giving launched by our wise leadership, this initiative reflects the social responsibility of both the TRA and telecom service providers in the country. It also expresses the partnership and joint efforts to contribute in achieving happiness,” said TRA director general.
