Two Essential Phone software updates are rolling out with a claim that they would improve the camera functioning of the latest Essential Phone. By far, Essential Phone camera has been considered the bad if not the worst which is why two prong approach has been invested in the new updates.

One update is related to new firmware for the mobile phone and second one related to camera app in the Play Store.

Micheal Kolb, software engineer said, ‘Our small team has been hard at work improving the Essential Camera app’. New app resolves ‘shutter lag for one-off captures’. The shoot delay for a single photo was the most irritating thing users were facing.

Essential Phone has also made a claim that they have improved low light photo taking capability and image output as a whole with more of a consistency in numerous light conditions. This means, the camera has got boosted capture speed, over 40% from the last time.
