Twitter has tried hard over the last couple of months on its video efforts and just signed a deal to live stream selected coverage of Wimbledon series throughout its network. The deal has been made directly with All England Club, according to which Twitter will show the highlights of the matches and game clips as well. Behind the scenes snippets and news updates would also be part of the Twitter Wimbledon series 2017.

However, users won’t be able to see the complete live match coverage over Twitter. This hasn’t surprised many because what’s the point of playing the whole coverage when Twitter in itself promotes the bit size news or information updates. The format suits the site anyway.

Content for the streaming would be provided by Wimbledon Channel via SW19. All England Club official statement claims that people could watch the Twitter streaming all over the world except for Italy, Spain, Germany and Austria.
