Whatsapp Messaging App Outage of Few Hours, Back in Business.

Last night, users of Whatsapp were unable to send or receive any message because of the worldwide outage, approx. 1.2 billion users got affected. Whatsapp spokesperson apologized for the inconvenience but he didn’t specify the cause of the outage, claiming Whatsapp itself was causing the trouble and that there isn’t any external source involved.Users from all over the world were trying to access but they were incapable of sending videos, messages, photos, the only message they were receiving, ‘ app is trying to connect’.

Reuters reported countries in which Whatsapp was down: United States, India, Canada, some Middle Eastern countries, Brazil and Canada.

Some of the users picked Telegram app to send and receive messages in Brazil, shifting millions of users from Whatsapp platform.

Panicked Whatsapp users took to Twitter to notify this issue, however some of the Whatsapp users are still facing connectivity problems. Twitteratis named this outage ‘Whatshack’.
