CM ShahbazSahreef has announced that from now onwards Government affairs will be held through smartphones.In a meeting with VP Google South Asia and Southeast Asia RajanAnandan, CM Punjab asked for collaboration for the development of IT is various sectors. He emphasized this as top priority of the Punjab Government.

CM announces monitoring of Government affairs via smartphone

The CM further elaborated on Safe City project for monitoring crime and maintain peace. The Lahore Knowledge Park is the next milestone to be fulfilled as well. Apart from this the CM meeting with Google Asia-Pacific Public Policy and Government Affairs Director Ann Lavin unleashed that a system has already been in the development phase to monitor public affairs via smartphones. Also, the Citizen Feedback monitoring system will make sure that citizens get the best services. Google has already worked esp. on aspects like culture and the CM further stresses on enhancing collaboration with the multinational technology company.

Smart monitoring through smartphone apps have been the principal tool to gather data of services delivery along with geo-tagged pictographicproofs.
