BlackBerry seems desperate more than ever. The Canadian phone division has been under lot of pressure lately. Primarily, because it has not many times believed in less physical QWERTY thing something other than home-grown OS. As the rumor has it, the firm was up for an Android phone, its little savior, the company has recently confirmed this by making an obvious announcement.

We have also heard from some statements by CEO John Chen stating that OS can be adopted for next phone if it proves secure and worth running (esp. meet expectations).

Things moved positive even further toward Android adoption after a mysterious Android-powered slider was unveiled at MWC 2015. Now, it appears, BlackBerry is closer to adopting Android than ever as the company recently got two new domains, related to Google’s mobile OS. The addresses are AndroidSecured.net and AndroidSecured.com, both are purchased by BlackBerry Limited on July 7, 2015.
