According to a latest report, AT&T is a rebranding its GoPhone service. It will now be called AT&T Prepaid. The carrier is offering 2 months of free wireless service to its new prepaid customers in order to celebrate the new name. If you wish to avail this offer you need to activate and keep a new line for one year. You will be able to avail account credit for the third and twelfth months of service. In addition, you need to opt for one of these two prepaid plans: $60 per month or $40 per month.
AT&T Prepaid does not need a contract; you can just pay on monthly basis. Other than the 2 prepaid plans mentioned above, AT&T allows you to choose a prepaid plan for $30 per month as well.
The AT&T Prepaid lineup comprises low-end smartphones generally but you can get some high end handsets such as the Apple iPhone SE or the iPhone 6 too.
