Alcatel is not a legend when it comes to specs and features in smartphones. However, it did emerge as a very reasonable brand in developing economies. Regions like Asian and South African do have tendency towards cheap technology providers. Moreover, it is important to learn how the brand has developed its name over years. The Alcatel has produced some very mediocre specs but did show the ability to carve good design over the hood. Alcatel One Touch Idol three is an amazing flagship handset with prominent specs that will dazzle your eyes. However, it still resides on the downside of premium offering.

One Touch 3 Idol is a premium offering with mid-levels of screen resolution and specs that have outstanding performance at lesser price. The device has a very interactive Android 5.0.2 OS lollipop with its dual speakers and dual OS setting. It is also a lean slender smartphone and is quite lightweight with just 141 grams and the best fit in your palms. The dimensions are 152.7 x 75.1 x 7.4 mm. Alcatel One Touch 3 Idol has a 5.5-inch screen. It does have better camera, processor and battery as compared the meeker One Touch Idol.

The device has 1.5 GHz octa-core processor Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 that is reliable and efficient to keep the apps, games, media and OS running. One Touch 3 Idol has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is definitely an increment to predecessors 1.5GB RAM and 8GB ROM. Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, 4G and 4G-LTE with speed up to HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps. The low-end LTE options have never been common but it is significant to introduce it to highly potent emerging markets. It has a better interface experience with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. This will make a smooth and highly responsive in its touch and tap experience. The colors are bright and beautiful.

Alcatel One Touch Idol 3 has dual camera feature. The rear unit calls for a 13MP with 4128 x 3096 pixel dimensions, autofocus, and LED flash supported. It also features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR. The camera captures a 1080 pixels video with up to 30 frames per second. The front facer is 8MP with video calculating up to 1080 pixels. The device is $250 when priced which makes it rip apart its competition that is Motorola Moto 4G LTE and Moto G. the rest the device is no wonder to talk about but a worth buy.
